Questions worth answering
Most of my work starts with a simple question from a health programme. Here are some I've helped answer, and how I went about it.
Four stories, start to finish
Each one starts with a real question. Open any card to see what I did, what I found and why it matters.
How a disease model works
A lot of my work uses compartment models. It sounds technical, but the idea is simple. Tap each box to see what it means.
People who have no protection yet. If an infected mosquito bites them, they can get sick.
Each case infects fewer than one new person. The outbreak fades away.
Each case infects more than one new person. The disease keeps spreading.
